Oohhhh my head….
We got to bed at 6am and awoke with sore heads and hungry stomachs. Cara took us to a cafe by her house for brunch. I had butternut squash soup with peppermint tea. Cara’s lunch looked lush, I had massive food envy! I think it was a potato cake with different types of cold salads.

So there’s a big change happening in my life right now.I’m leaving my job! I’ve been in my current role for about 2 and a half years and decided it was time to move on. My last day with the bank was Tuesday and I start in the new company when I get back from holidays on the 14th.
I have such a mixture of feelings around this move. I’m excited because I know I am going to a good job and it’s something new and challenging. But I’m quite scared and sad at the thought of leaving everyone I have worked with for the last 2.5 years. I started in the company as a graduate, not knowing anyone in London except my tool of a (now ex) boyfriend and I have made so many great friends who I can’t meet for coffee or lunch anymore 😦
I just need to keep telling myself change is good!

Breakfast today was natural yoghurt and skinny mocha. Oh my god natural yoghurt is gross. I get it, it’s healthy, but Jesus I’d rather eat nothing than have that. Needless to say there was a 3 minute gap between taking this picture and throwing it in the bin.
Lunch was a delish chicken salad from Pret. Nice and light. I figured I’d save myself for the main event…dinner at BF’s!
Goats cheese, mature cheddar, Boursin, pepper water biscuits, baby tomato&rocket salad, freshly baked ciabatta bread, vegetable soup. Oh, and humongous glasses of Merlot. Now it’s time to settle down on the couch and watch the latest 4 episodes of The Walking Dead. Have you seen it? If the answer is no then you need to go download it right now! Go! And then come back and agree that it is the best show on TV right now.
